Guidance Department

Teachers will continue to use the mood meter with student's to help build social/emotional intelligence. Conversations are centered around student's identifying what color they are in (red, yellow, blue & green), a word to describe their feeling, why they are feeling that way, if they want to remain feeling that way or if they want to adjust how they feel - what can they do to get to feel that way. This framework in identifying feelings is universal throughout our school building.  Families you can practice this work at home! Give it a try.
